Here are three small things you can implement to help you manifest a positive mindset daily:

Practice Daily Gratitude

It’s easy to fall victim to negativity. Watching the news, scrolling through social media, the negativity of the world has a tendency to take over our lives without us even realizing.

It’s so important to appreciate the little things in life and seek joy and happiness in daily practices. One thing many start or end their day with to help reframe mindset is a daily gratitude practice.

Grab a notebook and make a goal to find three things that bring you joy each day. It can be as simple as hearing your child laugh with friends over Zoom classes or a celebration of reaching a certain milestone at work. Thinking about the things your grateful for every single day helps you to realize all the good that is in your life. It’s easy to focus on the negatives, but this practice forces you to consider all the good and positivity that tends to get pushed to the back of your mind.

Surround Yourself with Positive People

Negativity is contagious. If you surround yourself with people who lift you up and inspire you, it will help you stay in a positive state of mind. After your interactions with people, think about how they make you feel. Did they inspire you and make you happy, or do you feel down on yourself and upset? It can be hard to distance yourself from negative relationships, but it is critical to your well-being and ability to adopt a positive mindset!

Join an online community for personal or professional development to meet individuals with similar goals and mindsets. Have regular coffee dates with those friends who you enjoy spending time with and feel supported by.  

Adopt a Service Mindset

Sometimes helping others is the best way to remain positive. Realizing your positively impacting your community will help you increase your positivity daily. Pay it forward at the coffee shop and cover the drink of the person behind you as a surprise. Start volunteering for a local charity helping those in need during COVID-19. Support a local small business rather than large chains. There are so many ways you can help others and bring positivity to your life.
